We then set an appointment around your schedule. Our salespeople have comprehensive product knowledge and can research your application so we can provide you with complete solutions.
We arrive with product and material samples matching your stated interests. We also have knowledge of other treatment ideas and relative pricing information.
We measure your windows and can quickly price them for you.
We give you an estimate of the time your order will take to complete. Build and delivery times vary by treatment as well as by season. If you need coverings immediately for a new home, we can supply you with temporary shades.
If you are ready, your order can be placed during our visit. If not, there's never an obligation or a rush for an order.
Some notes on product quality and warranties:
The standard warranty for this industry is 'limited lifetime', which means the product is warranted for the expected lifetime of the product to the original purchaser as long as they own the home the product is professionally installed in.
All of the products we sell are made by reputable, brand name manufacturers. This insures that any product related defects will be taken care of anytime during the warrantee period.
We use only factory certified installers, ensuring the professional look you should expect and validates manufacturers warranty.
Product materials: wood shutters and high quality blinds are typically made from basswood. Composite wood blinds and shutters are made primarily from wood flour with a quality bonding agent (MDF). Faux or Plastic blinds and shutters are either PVC, ABS or Poly-Carbonate.
Shutters and blinds should not be affected by environmental variations. Wood products exposed to strong temperature and moisture variations can become warped or cracked or develop peeling paint. A product warranty will cover this unless the product was submitted to non-warranted conditions. Always review the manufacturers cleaning instructions for warranty friendly cleaning methods and cleaning agents.
Paint and fabric will change color over time depending on exposure to light. Color 'fastness' is rarely guaranteed beyond three years. Fading is common but yellowing is very rare.
